University of Wisconsin Milwaukee
October 20 – 22, 2014
We've reserved 50 rooms at two hotels very close to the conference venue.
The first is the Hyatt Regency. We have negotiated a rate of $99/night for 30 rooms (slightly more for triple and quadruple occupancy) from Sun 10/19 to Thu 10/23. To make a reservation at the Hyatt please go to https://resweb.passkey.com/go/uwmphysicsnanograv and choose ATTENDEE from the drop-down menu, the rest is pretty intuitive. Or you can call 1-888-421-1442 and mention the group name "NANOGrav Physics UWM".
The second hotel is the Fairfield Inn & Suites. We have reserved a block of
20 rooms there for $119/night, though we have fewer rooms reserved for the very last night (10/22-10/23). To reserve a room at the special rate please call 1-414-224-8400 and use the group name NANOGrav.
Please note that if you don't use the group codes provided the nightly rates will be significantly greater (I just checked this on their websites).
The deadline for those rates is September 19th. Milwaukee is a very busy month in Oct (lots of other conferences) so please make sure you make your reservations before Sept 19th. In addition to it being more expensive, it may be hard to find a room close to the conference venue after that date.
